SKAAstore Warranty
Introduction
This document outlines the terms and conditions of the SKAA Limited Warranty Plan ("the Warranty"), provided by Eleven Engineering Inc. ("SKAA", "Eleven Engineering", or "the Company") to the original purchaser ("the Customer") of eligible SKAA and Dillinger Labs products listed under this Limited Warranty.
The Limited Warranty is designed to offer protection for covered products against specific types of accidental damage and other defects as outlined below. By purchasing an extension of the Warranty, the Customer agrees to the terms and conditions described herein.
Limited Warranty Coverage Scope
Covered Products
The Limited Warranty provides one year of default coverage for all SKAA and Dillinger Labs products. However, only the following products are eligible for the optional extended limited warranty:
● Dillinger Labs Streetheart
● Dillinger Labs Dani
● Dillinger Labs Death From Below
What is covered?
These items are covered under the Limited Warranty:
● Electronic malfunction resulting from normal usage
● Defects in materials and workmanship, not abuse, of the covered equipment that
impedes the usability of the product
● For products with an integrated rechargeable battery, (Streetheart, Dani, Death From Below), the Warranty provides battery replacement coverage. If the customer experiences a noticeable battery performance decline, they may submit a claim, including proof of reduced performance. SKAA reserves the right to assess and approve replacement requests based on reasonable evidence of diminished battery capacity.
What isn't covered?
These items are not covered under the Limited Warranty:
● Damage caused by improper use, care, or maintenance, or by failure to follow the
instructions and/or maintenance recommendations contained in the user manual
● Damage caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the
Product that doesn’t impede normal operation
● Damage caused by impact or abuse
● Water Damage
● Attempts of unauthorized repair
Claim Limits
The Limited Warranty allows for an unlimited number service requests and claims, that qualify under the coverages set above, during the coverage term.
Limited Warranty Structure
Plan Terms
The Warranty includes:
● 1-Year Default Term: Coverage is included with the product at no additional cost for the first year.
● 2-Year Extension Option: Customers may purchase an extension to cover an additional two years (for a total of three years of coverage) for eligible products only.
Pricing for Extension (All prices in USD):
● Dillinger Labs Death From Below: $99.99
● Dillinger Labs Streetheart: $39.99
● Dillinger Labs Dani: $39.99
Service Fees
The Limited Warranty provides repair services at no additional cost to the customer within coverage limits. Eleven Engineering reserves the right to determine whether or not a full replacement is necessary for all warranty claims. These decisions will be disclosed to the Customer before the replacement process is initiated to obtain consent.
Service Channels
The Warranty operates exclusively out of our Edmonton, AB office. The service process is as follows:
● Initial Troubleshooting: SKAA/Eleven Engineering representatives will work with the
Customer over email or phone to diagnose and resolve issues wherever possible. We
will make every effort to resolve the issue remotely.
● Shipping Process: If further assessment is required, the Customer will arrange and pay to send the product to Eleven Engineering’s Edmonton, AB office for assessment. The Customer will cover both the cost of outbound and return shipping for shipments related to the repair or replacement.
● Repair or Replacement: Once received, the product will be inspected and either
repaired or replaced, based on the assessment.
● Shipping: If the customer wishes, Eleven Engineering can offer a flat-rate cost to
arrange shipping to and from the Customer’s location. This flat rate will be determined
based on Customer location and calculated at the discretion of Eleven Engineering.
Express Services
The Limited Warranty does not offer express service options.
Coverage Location
The Limited Warranty offers international coverage, allowing customers to access warranty services regardless of their location.
Limitations of Liability
Eleven Engineering is not liable for any loss of income, revenue, or other financial impact arising from the malfunction or unavailability of covered equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, any professional use cases where equipment failure may lead to financial loss.
Eleven Engineering does not accept responsibility for any indirect or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of data or the inability to use the product.
Right to Refuse Coverage
SKAA/Eleven Engineering reserves the right to refuse coverage for any claim submitted under the Warranty if it determines, at its sole discretion, that the claim does not meet the conditions for coverage.
Warranty Cancellation and Transfer
Cancellation Options Customers may cancel their Warranty coverage at any time. If a customer chooses to cancel mid-term, refunds will not be prorated unless otherwise approved by SKAAsupport customer service.
Non-Transferable Warranty
The Warranty is tied to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Warranty coverage cannot be transferred to a new owner if the product is resold, including on any gray market or unauthorized resale platforms.
Warranty General Terms
Legal Compliance
The Warranty aims to provide international warranty coverage in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws. SKAA makes no representation that the Warranty is compliant with local regulations outside of Canada and the United States. Customers are encouraged to review any local restrictions that may impact their coverage.
Right to Modify Terms
SKAA reserves the right to update the terms and conditions of the Warranty at any time. Changes will be communicated via SKAAstore.com, and continued use of the warranty coverage after changes are posted will indicate acceptance of the new terms. Complete Agreement
This Warranty document represents the entire agreement between SKAA and the customer regarding extended warranty coverage. It supersedes any prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, or representations, whether oral or written, related to warranty coverage. Any amendments or modifications to this agreement must be provided in writing by Eleven Engineering.
Agreement to Terms
By purchasing the Warranty extension, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions set forth in this document. Payment for the Warranty extension constitutes acceptance of these terms, and the Customer’s warranty coverage is governed by the provisions contained herein. Any use of warranty services after payment confirms the Customer’s ongoing acceptance of these terms.
